It's a city of storytellers and pubs, quaint, cozy, and in parts boisterous. You can hit the Temple Bar pub scene running, sip a pint or two of Guinness dark ale at the 12th-century Brazen Head restaurant-pub, pause for a selfie on the Ha'penny iron footbridge across the River Liffey, check out the 1,200-year-old Book of Kells at Trinity College, shop for some Donegal tweed on the Grafton shopping strip, watch Gaelic football at the 82,000-seat Croke Park, and step back and admire the city's oldest Georgian street, Henrietta. And you know, there are lots and lots of leprechauns – you just have to look for them! – and lots of green all around, especially if you come in February on St Paddy's Day! So, hey, cheers!
