Pop into an old-fashioned pub in a Victorian arcade in downtown for a round of locally-brewed VB (Victoria Bitter), or a local craft brew, think Mountain Goat, or opt for a splash or two of realtime Aussie port wine to get wicked drunk. And yeah, meander in the inner-city laneways – most notably Hosier Lane, Union Lane and Degraves Street – to see wall after wall tagged with brilliant, eye-popping graffiti and street art, end to end, top to bottom. Maybe even go and watch a footy game or a classic cricket test match at the G, or Melbourne Cricket Ground, in Yarra Park and tuck into a juicy meat pie dripping with tomato sauce while you're there. Or, heck, just get out and make a screaming hook-turn in the CBD, Melbourne-style! which is head-turning wild!
