Nashville Tennessee Travel Guide
You won’t believe this, but it’s a hopping city. Yep, in Tennessee. First thing, hit the Grand Ole Opry, a place almost of pilgrimage for country music fans. All the country greats have played there – Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, you name it. In downtown you can take a peek at the Country Music Hall of Fame, then pop over to the Johnny Cash Museum in the nearby District to see every album he ever recorded. In the District, too, on the main drag, Broadway, you can take your pick of honky tonks, most of them overhung with neon guitars, for a bit of live hillbilly music. And in Music Row, its avenues littered with recording studios, you can search out the old RCA Studio where Elvis – yes, the King! – recorded a whopping 200-plus songs! But listen, put on your cowboy boots!
