Tuck into a heaping plate of pickled hot peppers garnished with cheese and powdered herbs and smoked chili, a dish they call Ema Datshi. Or watch Buddhist monks in colorful attire whirl around in "cham dances" at the Tsechu Festival at the Tashichho Dzong monastery. Or click a few pics of those white-gloved Bhutanese policemen as they direct traffic with animated gestures from their dragon-motif-adorned booths. Or, heck, just settle back at a Bhutanese cinema with a Druk lager and let the stars take you into a Himalayan escape. It's the last of the Himalayan kingdoms. And it's a happy place!
