Perugia Italy Travel Guide

You can binge on chocolate all day long at Europe's biggest chocolate festival, then meander in atmospheric medieval squares heaped with Etruscan antiquities, admire centuries-old church panels adorned with High Renaissance art, stroll between ancient stone-brick homes with red-tiled roofs clustered along steep, cobbled lanes, maybe even sit on the steps of the old cathedral and nibble on takeout pizzettas, and, yeah, pause at any of the town's many vantage points to take in sweeping, granddaddy views of the Tiber Valley fanning out into the greater Umbrian countryside! Sweet!
