There’s glorious sunshine 300-plus days a year. There’s tons of sand, of the fine white and golden kind, sprinkled over 50-plus beaches. And then there’s Nerja, a resort town with a maze of crooked then straight, narrow, cobbled old streets and tiny beaches beneath cliffs and stone stairs to reach them; and Marbella, with very, very rich people sipping afternoon tea at plush cafes spilling onto tiled pedestrian streets and harbors filled with decadent yachts that’d make even P-Diddy a wee bit envious. And the seafood paellas here – they’re totally kickass!
