You're in a drop-dead stunning setting here, atop a cliff, and you can look down from the Old Bridge, New Bridge or the Roman Bridge – and it really doesn’t matter which – for a fab view of the 330-foot-deep El Tajo gorge. Or, hey, just walk along that stone wall on the periphery of the gorge for a lingering view. And if you head into town, you can stroll down narrow, cobbled lanes in the old Arabic quarter, or go shop-hopping on the busy pedestrianized Carrera Espinel. But whatever else, try to catch at least one bullfight in what is Spain’s oldest and most famous bullring – and maybe even join in the chorus egging on the matador with shouts of “Ole!”
