It's a happy sort of place, with lots of color. You can stroll down Albert Street to see all those flat-roofed buildings in gaudy hues, and people-watch all those Belizeans in their tropical shirts and tank-tops in loud, rainbow stripes. Or, stop by a bakery along Queen Street for a pop-tart-type jam-roll and coffee, or wander over to the old harbor to watch the fishing flotillas coast in to unload their catch of the day, or even take a water-taxi to the barrier reef to see all that black coral and kaleidoscopic fish. And you know what? You can do it all in English!
