Nuremberg Germany Travel Guide
It’s a pretty city, with a palpable Bavarian vibe. But, believe it or not, most people come here to see the Nazi sights! Yep. And you can, too. There are guided tours that’ll take you to the huge Zeppelinfeld rally grounds and equally massive stage there, and also show you an archive of Nazi political posters dating from 1933. But move around in the city center, in the old town, and you’ll find spacious, brick-paved squares with street food vendors, and cobbled streets lined with colorful shops and restaurants, all tucked into timber-frame and red-brick buildings, as well as bars where you can slouch over the counter and order the local monastic brew, Kloster Andechs, served in a maßkrüge, along with over-size pretzels – totally Bavarian. So: Prost!
