You’ll see Vincent van Gogh’s paintings come alive: On the periphery of town you’ll see the Mountains at Saint-Rémy; when you look up into the night sky you’ll see The Starry Night; when you walk around town you’ll see the Large Plane Trees, the Chapel and the Bench at Saint-Rémy; and when you stand outside Saint-Paul Asylum you’ll see where he spent his last years and produced a whopping 150-plus canvases. But move about a bit, for there are lots of great little cafés and small restaurants in town where you can sip that chocolat chaud and nibble on a few madeleines, or, heck, just tuck into some marinated pieces of duck breast with sun-dried tomatoes and thick slices of foie gras. It’s all good!
