Jackson Hole Wyoming Travel Guide

[Last updated January 6, 2021]

Ask around, and they’ll tell you this place ain’t for the frail of heart. It’s a serious skiing mecca, set in a valley in the Rockies, with deep-powder black-diamond runs, a kickass park for hardcore riders, plus out-of-bounds zones for the intrepid lot, and you can take your pick of mountains – Jackson Hole, Snow King or Grand Targhee. In town, you can mill about in Town Square beneath an antler-adorned arch and splash at one of the restaurants there to tuck into a steak the size of your face, or shop-hop in boutiques and gift and ski shops in Teton Village, or stop by the National Museum of Wildlife Art to see, among other stuff, works by iconic American painters Georgia O’Keefe and Andy Warhol. Oh, and if you go just to the north, you can even explore the Grand Tetons and see fully-grown elk with majestic crowns of antlers – realtime. Yep.
