It's an Aegean Sea resort that can spoil you to bits. There are hotel properties cascading down to the water’s edge, with white-linen-topped tables lavishly set with bowls of nuts, figs and tropical fruit. You can hop on a sailboat just offshore to catch the breeze, or don that snorkeling gear to gaze upon all those colorful fish in the sea. There’s an underwater Museum of Archaeology where you can see centuries-old shipwrecks and artifacts from antiquity, and a grand old castle that overlooks the city's twin bays. There are broad sweeps of beaches to splash on, streets crammed with boutique shops and restaurants to explore, and if you hit the nightclubs on Cumhuriyet Street, aka Bar Street, you’ll be shaking that booty till daybreak!
