Look to the west and you’ll see the Rocky Mountains, full-on. But before the Rockies, you’ll see flat slabs of sandstone they call the Flatirons. And if you climb to the top of the Flatirons, you’ll get panoramic views of the town. In town, you can stroll amid locals and uni students and buskers on Pearl Street Mall, and maybe stop in at Foolish Craig's or one of the other restaurants or cafés there for a veggie burger and a craft beer, or even watch an indie film at the long-running Boulder Theater. Or, hey, there’s always a lot of weed to go around. And you know, at over 5,300 feet it's a good high!
