Linger in the world's largest public square (it's huge!), lose yourself in the mesmerizing 500-year-old Forbidden City, soak up the atmosphere in the haphazard maze of the hutong, go bar-hopping along Sanlitun's Bar Street, and tuck into an expertly-carved Peking Duck at the 150-year-old Quanjude restaurant. Oh, and there are remnants of the Great Wall of China just outside the city that you can walk along.
