People come from around the world to see the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and so should you. But while you're there, ride the ferry across the harbor to Taronga Zoo for a look-back harbor-view of both the bridge and Opera House and backdropped photo ops to boot. Later on, you can pop over to the maze of shops at the waterfront Rocks to gorge on some of those to-die-for macarons and that sweet, sticky chocolate fudge. Or head up to Kings Cross and walk along the main drag there for a bit of that red-light buzz. Or, hey, take your pick of the city's beaches – Bondi, Coogee, Manly, or any of the others, each more golden and sun-drenched than the other – to hang with those deep-tanned Aussie beach-bums. And yeah, if you come on New Yea's Eve, you'll be treated to the grandest fireworks, right over the harbor, that'll totally rock your world!
