Stroll past colonial buildings in the leafy streets in the French Quarter, stop by a roadside vendor in the old part of town for some pho, or buy a few lotuses from one of those Vietnamese women in conical hats with their flower shop on the back of a bicycle. And for a bit of Vietnam War history, check out the Ho Chi Minh Museum where you'll see the bank of phones from which the iconic Vietcong leader ran an entire war against a superpower.
