See dolphins flipping on cue, and vintage tall ships and even a Soviet sub anchored in the bay at the Maritime Museum. Catch a mariachi band in the Old Town, or beach volleyball at Ocean Beach. And if you go across to Coronado island and stand on the pier, you’ll see a 2.1-mile bridge sweeping along a marvellous, 80-degree curve into the city. What joy!
