Settle back with a punchy sangria at a bar in a Mediterranean-style building in Palma, nibble on sweet-potato cakes at one of those small bakeries in Valldemossa, wander in the maze of narrow lanes in the Roman town of Alcúdia, and maybe tuck into some seafood at a harborside patio restaurant at Cala Figuera. And if you go to Deià, a pretty little hilltop village on the west coast of the island, you might even see a member or two of the Spanish royal family there.
