You're at the top of Costa del Sol here, with dollops of sunshine. You can splash on the broad, sandy expanse of Málagueta, traipse through an entire pocket of Roman and Phoenician ruins, and go up the hill of Gibralfaro to see the Moorish palace, Alcazaba, and take in a grand view of the city. And if you come in August, you can even watch Verdiales dancers at the summertime fair, and drink sweet Málaga wine.
