It’s the go-to digs on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Or, you could just lather on some sunscreen and splash on the sandy beach and maybe even paddle out to sea on your board to catch a bit of surf. When the sun goes down, it's a beeline over the hill to the Junction, the commercial hub here, where you can go beer-bingeing, Aussie style, at Cornerstone or Little Sister or any of dozens of other hopping bars and restaurant-pubs. Oh, and given half a chance, don’t pass up on that Aussie Burger – a grilled beef patty topped with a fried egg and a couple of slices of mushy, deep-red beet! No shit!
