Bali Indonesia Travel Guide

[Last updated January 1, 2021]

It’s the most hyped destination in the Java Sea. Pure tropics. There are beaches for splashing, surfing, and getting foot-massages on, temples with Hindu deities to selfie-up with, and salak and other Indonesian fruit to nibble on. You can go clubbing in the Legian pocket in Kuta, the main resort hub here, or ornamental-dick-shopping in the souvenir shops along the Kuta Beach walking street, and maybe even stop by a warung – small, mom-and-pop restaurant/café – or street-food stall for a lick of satay (grilled, spicy chicken or pork skewered on a stick). And yeah, at the posh Potato Head club in Seminyak you can hang at the biggest bar on the island, while at Old Man’s beach in nearby Canggu you can get surfing lessons and beer-binge on Bintang pilsners until the sun goes down! So, hey, just do it!
