Antibes France Travel Guide

[Last updated January 3, 2021]

It’s a delicious old town, with a cluster of sand-colored buildings overlooking golden beaches and an aquamarine sea. You’ll see grand old villas on the wooded Cap d’Antibes peninsula, and if you walk along Promenade Amiral-de-Grasse you'll have even grander views over the Mediterranean and, looking inland, the Alps. In the old town, you can meander in the palm-fringed Place Nationale, the main square, to soak up a bit of atmosphere, or, a stone’s throw from there, wander over to Marché Provençal to pick up locally-grown fruit or sample artisan cheeses. And if you come in the summertime, say early July, you can unwind to some kickass jazz at the Jazz à Juan festival and think it’s the Roaring 20’s all over again!
