Bozeman Montana Travel Guide
You’re in the heart of Montana’s Big Sky Country here. It’s a Western town loaded with grills, cantinas, and bars humming with low-brow local bands hammering away, even a bit of that college-town vibe, and, yes, craft brews from the homegrown Big Sky and Lone Peak breweries. But the big deal here? Hey, Big Sky, just to the south, some 45 minutes drive-time, the granddaddy ski resort of the American Rockies, with a whopping 5,800 acres of ski terrain spread over a huge mountain with a big face that's covered in reliably cold, deep-powder snow. There are generally short or no ski-lift lines, and if you stand at the top of Lone Peak Mountain, you’ll have the grandest, wide-angle photo-op against a seemingly endless Big Sky background. And what a totally insane, Instagrammable pic that'd be, right?
